Hi I’m Barney, a brown and black cross, a handsome chap and I’m 3 and a half years old, my cares at Barc really can’t understand why no one has offered me a forever loving home. I celebrate my birthday on the 1st of September and people say that I have grown into a median size dog, even though I only weigh 24 kilos. I love a cuddle once I get to know you’re ok, and especially love sitting on your lap, and I love playing in water, it’s my favourite thing, I’m very friendly and playful and like being with some of my fellow canines. I’m very good with puppies and I love being with children. I love to go for walks and I walk excellent on a lead, I don’t pull and will walk right by your side. I’m learning to be in an urban environment which was scary for me at first, but I am getting used to it.
The carers tell me I’m vaccinated and chipped which I’m told is a good thing in order to be adopted YIPEE! And I’m sterilised. YIPEE I suppose!!!!
I’m not sure I like my feline friends so it’s better that I don’t have them as companions.
Will you give me a chance and let me sit on your lap?
